Car Trouble

Hey yall, PLEASE let me tell you about what just happened to me this night! So I took my two friends to the movies on a "date" (<--- thats a whole nother set of drama in itself) to go see Hangover. This was the second time I saw this movie but I still laughed just as hard as the first time. But not to worry, I didn't pay. But anyway I digress, so after the movie let out around 9:15pm, we decided to ride round for a few and then go get ice cream. So after we rode around for about 15-20min, we stopped at the ice cream joint to go get some ice cream. I park and turn off the car and we get out. After getting out I realize that the line was WAY to long to stand in so we decided to get back in the car and call it a night! So when I went to start up the car, NOTHING HAPPENED! I mean not even a lil spark of the engine. I mean completly dead silence. At this point I wanted to cry, but my young ones said just calm down and call your dad. Umm yeah...I was like I am not having him scream at me for this foolishness so I called my Nana. As luck would have it she was coming back from a day in AC and she was to far away to give me a jump. DRAT! So we started asking random people at the parlor if they had jumper cables. Out of about 10 people we asked, NOT ONE HAD CABLES! Now I don't know how many where telling the TRUTH but anyway, so finally call my Dad, and to my surprise he didn't get mad at all. He came to come and look at my car but HE didn't have jumper cables either!

So after some more calls, we called one of my Dad's friend who is a truck driver and THANK THE LORD he had cables! So the car got jumped and now I'm home. I do not want you all to think that I was out there for say maybe a good 10 minutes. I'd say we were waiting in the car for a good 45 minutes in total before I drove home. BUT LET ME TELL HOW MY LORD BLESSES ME! Not only was it a GORGEOUS NIGHT nice breeze and the moon shining bright, we were parked in a nice area where there were A LOT of people coming to get ice cream so it wasn't like we were deserted! AND as SOON AS WE GAVE MY CAR A JUMP AND IT STARTED, the ice cream shop was closing! I AM A TRUE BELIEVER IN THE MIRACLES JESUS PERFORMS! HE MAY NOT ALWAYS COME WHEN YOU WANT HIM, BUT THANK GOD HE IS ALWAYS THERE ON TIME!!!

Summer is Winding Down

NOO! Omgee! Where did this summer go? Well more specifically July. I have to say that this summer really wasn't a "turn around" summer for me. A lot of my goals I set for myself I didn't accomplish nor did I do all of the partying I planned on doing! What sucked even more is that I didn't practice my piano...AT ALL or create music as I planned as well. But I would not call this summer wasted...Not at all! I chilled with my besties. something I will only be able to do now when stratigically planned out. I had days where there was NOTHING for me to do but just relax. I cherish those days because now that I am getting older, those days will far, wide, and few in between! But I aint sweating the little stuff because this SCHOOL YEAR when I go back to college, I put on a whole new attitude on life. I WILL, no read my words I WILL BE accomplishing ALL OF MY GOALS AND STANDARDS I set for myself because there, I really only have myself to motivate me! I won't be this young forever and sometimes you have got to say to yourself either now or never. Well I don't know about when never is to come, but now is here so IMMA DO IT!
